Get on a journey to Ouarzazate via the Tizi n’ Tichka pass, which elevates 2260 meters over the High Atlas Mountains. Along the way, make sure to savor the magnificent scenery and picturesque Berber villages. To make this excursion even more delightful, we’ll take you to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, the biggest Kasbah in Morocco and a UNESCO heritage site, which has served as the backdrop for more than 20 films. We’ll stop for lunch at the Kasbah before continuing towards the Dades Valley via Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa.” As we traverse along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, we’ll make a stop at Dades Valley/Gorges.

After breakfast at the riad the following day, we’ll journey through the valley to catch a glimpse of the “Monkey’s Toes” rock formation. Next, we’ll depart the Dades Valley en route toTinghir and the Todra Valley, where you can relish in the stunning vistas of ancient Berber villages, perched atop the valley’s mud-brick terrain. Once we arrive at the Gorge, you’ll have the chance to wander beneath the towering 300-meter-high red cliff, a well-known rock-climbing destination. From there, we’ll continue our voyage to Erfoud and Rissani for lunch before venturing to Merzouga village. Along the way, you’ll experience a short camel ride led by a seasoned guide that takes you directly to the Erg Chebbi sand dunes. Within an hour and a half, you’ll arrive at the highest sand dunes in Morocco and witness a breathtaking sunset. Finally, we’ll arrive at our nomadic Berber tents, where you can indulge in a delicious dinner, relax around a warm campfire, partake in a drum party, and spend the night in the desert

At daybreak, a camel guide will rouse you from slumber to witness the striking sunrise over the Sahara desert. Once you’ve taken in the breathtaking view, you’ll go on a camel ride back to Merzouga, where you can appreciate the stunning color variations of the Erg Chebbi dunes as the daylight shifts. Following your return to Merzouga, you’ll relish in a warm shower and a satisfying breakfast at the guest house. We’ll then proceed to Midelt, then Zaida for a delectable barbecue and a refreshing glass of Moroccan mint tea before journeying to the Berber village of Azrou in the Middle Atlas to see the Cedar forest’s resident Berber monkeys. Our desert trip will continue to Ifrane, also known as “Moroccan Switzerland,” where you can snap some souvenir photos or sip on a drink before we arrive at your accommodation in Fes.

Today, we’ll embark on an exciting discovery tour of Fez, where you’ll behold the city’s rich cultural and historical marvels. Later on, we’ll indulge in a satisfying lunch at a Medina restaurant before making our way north. After a couple of hours, we’ll arrive at Chefchaouen, which marks the conclusion of your tour.
